27 and so Grateful to Grow Alongside the Propel Community

I celebrated my 27th this past weekend, and I think a really cool part of starting my business young—and sharing so much on social media—is that I’ve been growing up alongside the Propel community…

I’m so grateful to everyone who’s been following along since I was just 23, starting this business. One thing I’ve been reflecting on is how, for every win you see, there are five (or maybe ten lol) low moments behind the scenes.

I always want to be a light on your feed, so I often hold back. I don’t want to add to the negativity that already exists online. But I want to do a better job of sharing the real moments too, because only seeing the highs just isn’t the full picture. And I think that can make entrepreneurs feel like they’re doing it wrong or that they’re not cut out for it, just because it’s hard. But it’s not hard because you’re not meant to be doing it.

It being hard is just the cost of admission as an entrepreneur.

And if you feel pulled in a certain direction (like entrepreneurship), I truly believe that’s your calling and your purpose. I’m grateful to have so many entrepreneurs in my circle to remind me of that when I forget but I also want to be that reminder for those of you just getting started or who don’t have that same circle yet.

So thank you to everyone who’s followed along. Watching me grow through the lessons, the mistakes, the setbacks that have felt like failures, and the wins and all the amazing moments. Let’s keep on propelling!!
